Scanlation is the fan-made process of editing foreign comic media (usually Japanese Manga) to have native language translations of the same media. I was involved for a short stint of about two years, but I learned a great deal and care about my work.
This page will eventually show a presentation I've made of the background and history of scanlation, the scanlation process, my involvement in it, and some other fun quirks. (The issue is formating of the presentation appearing on google-sites!)
As an online activity, I like to keep online interactions away from my real/professional interactions. However, if you'd like to see any of my works, I'd gladly share them with you directly/privately. The boundary I'd like to keep here is one-directional (i.e. I don't want people online finding this site and invading the privacy of my profession or real life).
