I'm an aspiring science educator who's worked in CPS as a substitute teacher while pursuing my Master's in Science Education at UIC, allowing me to combine work, coursework, and observations in a uniquely formative experience.
Before entering education, I worked in many sustainable biotechnology startups using bioreactors and cutting-edge fermentation technology to solve new problems everyday.
As a future science teacher, I want to connect my love of learning to each student's lived life. My goal is to help students develop the curiosity, confidence, and agency to see science as a tool for understanding and shaping their lives.
